Why choose me, Ginger, for your session?
There are so many photographers out there these days offering boudoir photography. Working with me is an investment and it takes more than pretty pictures to stand out today. So even though I know I’m super awesome maybe you’re just finding me and need a bit more info.
Well let’s start with the basics. I have a beautiful studio in Richmond, VA that is dedicated to boudoir photography. That means that every space in my studio is set up intentionally to create gorgeous settings for your intimate portraits. It also helps us get tons of variety in your images so you have choices.
I keep an all female team for your comfort so your makeup artist, hair stylist and any assistant that I might have working with us on your day with also be a woman.
I don’t share your images without your permission. I’d love to share everything I shoot but, your privacy is more important to me that having pictures for my portfolio. All of the images on my site are clients who gave me permission to share after they saw their images or they came in specifically for a Muse session giving me permission to share from the beginning.
Then there is the fact that I’ve been in business since 2007 and that I specialize in boudoir. For me this one is really important. I am the only studio in the area that specializes in women’s portraits. I’m here for the long haul. I’ve been working with women since I started my business and I’ve been focused on beauty portraits the entire time. My work has obviously grown and changed over the years but my focus has and will remain on creating amazing images for women. I’ve got years and years of experience posing every size, shape and age and you get the benefit of that experience when you work with me.
Of course I offer only the best products available to my industry but more importantly I work directly with you to craft amazing works of art OF you. I want your session to be your dream session. I want to create images that you will cherish years after the session has passed.
Personally, I am one of those total saps that believes in love, all of the love. Not only the kind that makes you cry at chic flicks, weddings, and commercials featuring adorable fat baby animals. The kind of love that makes you look into the eyes of your children and wonder how you ever knew love before them. The big kind that makes you long for your partner so deeply that you feel your heart ache when they leave for the week or even for the afternoon. I believe in the kind of love that roots us strongly to our tribe of people, forever connecting us to them no matter how near or far we are from them.
I am: A watcher of sunsets. An adoring mother. A 20 second hugger. A coffee drinker. A hand holder. A moment stealer. An over feeler. A klutz. An eye gazer. A daydreamer. An enthusiastic lover. An adventurer. I am a hopeless romantic.
I started in photography in high school because I thought it was cool. I studied photography in college and worked with a wedding studio after college. It wasn’t until many, many years later that I found my true passion for photography, in boudoir work. I have shot other genre’s but this, this was what lit a fire in me. I was hooked after the first session I shot and now I can’t see a scenario in my work life where I’m not doing this. It is the most fulfilling type of work I have ever done. I absolutely love working with women to bring out a connection to their own beauty and sexuality that many of my clients have never felt connected to.
It’s my mission to help women find confidence in their being and comfort in their sensual self. I want to give you the unique opportunity to connect with your sexual, sensual, self in a safe, intimate environment free from judgment and negativity all while creating beautiful, artistic images at the same time.
I hope to be blessed with many more years in this industry doing something that I genuinely love. Thanks! Ginger
This is me! When I’m not working I try to get out hiking with my family and my dog. Traveling, hiking, drinking to much coffee and being outside are my favorite ways to spend my down time. [blogshow id=8fe3 player=1 autoplay=1 toolbar=1]
