Miss D came into the studio this year having won one of our sessions from the studio’s anniversary back in May. I knew from the minute we talked that she was going to be amazing to work with. Her energy was just right for this experience. She proved me totally right when she showed up ready to dive right in to the shoot. She set her nervousness aside and really embraced the process and found “more self confidence! Awareness of who I am.” Bonus, the resulting images are gorgeous. I’m so happy to share her experience with you all. So I’ll shush up now and let’ her tell you in her own words what it was like.

What prompted you to do a boudoir session?
I have always been curious and loved the look of boudoir sessions! Being a bigger woman it has always been something I wanted to do.

Why did you select Ginger to be your photographer?
From the first phone call I knew ginger was everything I NEEDED in a photographer. So down to earth and real!!
What were you most nervous or insecure about coming into the session?
How I would photograph and how my body would look.
What is something that calmed your nerves on your big day?
Ginger!! And the makeup artist (forgot her name I apologize((Jennifer Mantura)) they made me feel like we have been friends forever.
