I want to take just a second to talk about the word “Plus”. It’s kind of a tricky word. It carries both negative and positive vibes with it. Today I’m using it because I know all to well that it’s the word women use when searching for boudoir images that reflect how they look. We’re looking for Plus Size Boudoir because we want to know the photographer we are hiring can flatter our bodies. I say our because I, for a good chunk of my life, have been plus size. I used to dread getting in front of the lens of someone who didn’t know how to flatter my shape. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE my body. I love my curves. I love my butt. I love my girls. I just want to know that when someone is taking my picture they are actually seeing ME. Whether you consider yourself plus, or curvy, fit, thick or thin you want to look your very best in your boudoir pictures. I know I do. The lovely lady featured on the blog today came in to do one of my Model for a Day sessions and I just loved working with her. It was actually her second session with me and she totally rocked it, again. She brought great lingerie too (links at the bottom) and I am so excited to share her set.
